Sedation Dentistry

For Those That Prefer To Sleep Through Their Treatment

Sedation Dentistry For People With A Dental Dilemma

Sedation Dentistry is suitable for you if the word “chicken” best describes you when you hear the word “dentist” – don’t fear, comfort has come a long way since you were a kid with pain-free conscious sedation and new non-invasive anxiety free dentistry techniques & technologies.

Is it even possible to go to the dentist and not experience pain? The answer is YES!

Has the thought of drilling and pain kept you away from the dental work you know you should have done?

Imagine being able to chew your food without discomfort, or smile often and confidently!

Reasons To Consider Sedation Dentistry

  • I’m afraid of needles and shots.
  • I’ve had bad experiences.
  • It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the dentist.
  • I always gag when having dental work.
  • I don’t seem to get numb or freeze.
  • All my teeth are too far-gone.
  • I don’t like being scolded or judged.
  • The dentist is a scary place.

What Is Sedation Dentistry

Then sedation dentistry is an option for you!

Bradford Family Dentistry excels in patient comfortability, and it’s our specialty! There are many dental sedation applications that are now available.

With Anxiety free sleep dentistry, you won’t feel any discomfort – not even the effects of freezing, and likely won’t even remember the treatment.

Oral sedation alternatives make it possible to be completely relaxed and comfortable during your treatment. Now you can get your regular checkups with peace of mind, knowing any further appointments will be gentle and comfortable.

Many treatments can be done at each visit, therefore if there are multiple items that need to be accomplished it will be done in fewer sessions!

Here’s How Sedation Dentistry works:

Step 1

Making your first appointment.

As this can be difficult for many anxious people, we try to make this as easy as comfortable as possible.

Step 2

Welcoming visit.

We will discuss with you your wants and desires, gather information regarding your health and, if you’re comfortable, we’ll take digital x-rays and look in your mouth. You will never be judged, scolded or embarrassed.

Step 3

Preparing for your dental sedation visit.

The night before your first appointment, we’ll give you a prescription for a sedative to guarantee a good night’s sleep and to make sure you wake up relaxed.

Step 4

Arriving for Treatment.

Your companion will bring you to the office. Our experienced sedation team will monitor you throughout your entire visit. Additional (non-invasive) medications will be provided to create the ultimate in relaxation.

Step 5

Going home with your new smile.

Your companion will take you home and stay with you until you’re completely recovered from your sedation medication.

Step 6

The next day.

Our office makes a phone call the next day to check in on you; just to be sure you’ve received the utmost care.

What To Expect From Your Sedation Dental Appointment

Most patients feel no discomfort or residual effects from the dental visit and you’ll be thrilled with all the compliments you will get.

Many treatments qualify for anxiety free dentistry – a broken tooth to be fixed, yellow teeth to be whitened, missing teeth that need to be replaced, pain that needs to be eliminated.

Fortunately, sedation medications have an amnesic effect that means you’ll have very little, if any, memory of the sights, smells or sound of your visit.

Wake up to a more healthy and beautiful smile with amazingly comfortable sedation dentistry. We have a qualified sedation dentist available for you.

You’ll be calm cool and collected at your next sleep through appointment! 1-877-283-0497
